The 2008 Nissan Pathfinder has one large difference from all of the previous models of the Pathfinder. The inclusion of a V8 engine for the first time brings a new and more powerful option to the Pathfinder line-up.
The V8 engine is shared with the Titan and Armada, and gives the Pathfinder an option for those who want more power and tow capacity out of their SUV. It adds another 1000 lbs to the tow rating, which makes a big difference for those who want to use their vehicle for a lot of large towing use.
There are some moderate changes in other areas to the vehicle such as slight restyling of the rear end, but the major difference from previous years is definitely the inclusion of the V8 engine as an option.
